The transnational meeting of the Erasmus+ CoTEDI project (Computational Thinking for Education with Diversity and Inclusion) was held in Lisbon, Portugal, on February 24–25, 2025. This two-day event gathered partners from Spain, the Netherlands, Portugal, Germany, Sweden and Switzerland to advance the collaborative development of inclusive computational thinking strategies in education. The sessions took place at two main venues: Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), a prestigious engineering university in Lisbon, and Agrupamento de Escolas de Carnaxide-Portela, an important partner school.
Throughout the meeting, the consortium focused on evaluating the progress of national-level activities and refining the CoTEDI educational activity book, which brings together tested classroom proposals aimed at fostering computational thinking with a focus on diversity and inclusion. The project progress was reviewed and discussed to ensure coherence and pedagogical quality across countries.
The visit to Agrupamento de Escolas de Carnaxide-Portela included a tour of the school’s facilities, brief partner presentations, and a workshop on assessing CT skills led by Estefanía Martín Barroso and María Zapata Cáceres. In the afternoon, back at IST, a roundtable was held with teachers to share experiences, reflect on local challenges, and identify best practices to foster CT through inclusive methodologies.
In parallel, the partners finalized the structure of the international teacher feedback survey and planned its implementation. Additionally, the team coordinated the next Multiplier event to be held in Spain, and worked on strategies to disseminate the project’s results and ensure their sustainability after the project’s conclusion.
The meeting was highly productive and provided a valuable opportunity for collaborative reflection, planning, and exchange. The excellent organization by the Portuguese team and the warm atmosphere further strengthened the project’s partnerships.
